Each Associate brings skills and experience to the team.  Michael is a solar electric specialist helping with design, installation and monitoring of systems.

Michael Fisher has been volunteering on a part-time basis with I-TEC since 2009 as a solar electric specialist. He has led all I-TEC solar projects in the areas of solar design, project quotation, installation and service. Michael built his own solar powered home in 1991. He has been professionally designing and installing solar systems since 2003 and in 2009 started his own solar installation business serving North Central Pennsylvania.

As Michael volunteered with I-TEC he witnessed firsthand the desperate need for cost-effective, reliable solar power in the overseas context. He knew he wanted to use his expertise in solar energy to further God’s Kingdom and has continued on that path. He believes it is a great privilege to power the front-line mission so that they may more effectively promote the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Fishers are currently raising financial support so that they can work with I-TEC full-time. Michael is a strong asset to the team as he surveys new solar projects, designs and quotes new solar systems, leads the solar installation teams, and remotely monitors and maintains I-TEC’s existing solar systems.
