After high school graduation; Matt entered the world of electrical construction and service as an apprentice. Matt enjoys the electrical industry’s variety. As an electrician, Matt worked on residential, commercial, industrial, and solar photovoltaic electrical systems. Matt currently works as project manager for an electrical equipment manufacture’s service group.
Carrie & Matt enjoy their kid’s sport & music endeavors, their fixer upper house projects, and family. Carrie enjoys cooking. Matt enjoys eating Carrie’s cooking, which led him into his other hobby…..running. Carrie works with learning support students at their local school district.

Bill and Jackie Wright
Tom and Bill became acquainted at El Sembrador in Honduras in 1986 during the installation of the hydroelectric plant and power line. Bill started working with Radio Station in HCJB, Ecuador in 1982 where he was working with the hydroelectric plants high in the Andes mountains of Ecuador. While at HCJB, Bill was also seconded to Tenwek Hospital for the installation of a 320 KW Hydroelectric plant. Bill’s passion for radio broadcasting at HCJB included the installation and commissioning of three 100 KW shortwave transmitters. Bill and Jackie left HCJB in 1994 to go to Boone, NC to work with World Medical Mission. While at World Medical Mission, Bill focused on medical equipment and electrical systems pertaining to hospital and medical facilities. He has been involved in the design, staging, export packaging, and installation medical such as medical x-ray machines, steam autoclaves, medical gas systems and diagnostic ultrasound equipment. All of these pieces of equipment require clean, continuous electrical power. This inspired Bill to become involved in alternate energy schemes such as photovoltaic systems.
Bill is married to Jackie and she is a registered Occupational Therapist. They have travelled together to mission hospitals where he has had opportunity to work with those who have physical challenges. They have three children. Brent is married and has three children. Brent is a Practioner of Prosthetics. Janell is working with the Center for Disease Control on assignment in Viet Nam. Kari is a registered nurse in critical care areas.

R. Shane Ritter, PE, RCDD, LC, LEED

Shane works with ITEC as a Sr. Electrical Design Engineer assisting in finding effective and practical power solutions. Shane is a graduate of Mississippi State University with his BS and MS in electrical engineering. He has a PhD in electrical engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Shane has worked as a consulting electrical design engineer for over 20 years working on numerous commercial and industrial design projects including retail, schools, office buildings, manufacturing plants, healthcare, churches, hospitality, and critical facilities. Shane is a licensed professional engineer in 20 different states and has done design work all over the country. Shane is also a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (BICSI RCDD) and has designed many different types of communications and low voltage systems. Shane is Lighting Certified (NCQLP LC) and has extensive experience in all types of lighting designs and applications. Shane is also LEED Accredited (USGBC LEED) and has experience in designing and implementing green design practices.
Shane & Julie were married in 1998 and have 8 children ranging in ages from 8 to 18. Shane loves music and is very active in his church music ministry singing and playing the guitar, keyboard, and trumpet. Julie loves to cook and serve … especially if it involves entertaining guest! She also loves to be outdoors either working in the yard or washing the cars.
